This gingerbread man craft is a fun Christmas and holiday activity that combines art and writing into an easy-to-make flip book. A template is provided for students to create a gingerbread man emoji, draw pictures, and write stories. This is an excellent follow-up to the Gingerbread Man story or unit.
The template includes 5 flaps and a choice of two sets of eyes and two mouths, three hats, bow ties, a mustache, and more. Finished projects make a cute holiday bulletin board. Flipbooks are perfect to help students organize their thinking to retell a story or come up with a creative version of their own. They can also be great for practicing words or other concepts from your lessons.
