Students will create a jack-o-lantern pumpkin and write a story inside the book. Writing prompts are included to help guide students as they write their stories. This activity can be tailored to any level, with younger children able to draw their stories instead of writing them.
Writing can be based on a current book, unit, or be a creative writing assignment. It is a great way to incorporate art, writing, history, and social studies into one activity.
