Dusty the Dog - Tammys Teaching Tools

When life gets ruff, don’t give up!
Let Dusty the Dog Help.

From dyslexia to anxiety, Dusty the Dog helps kids tackle the everyday challenges in their lives.

Just because kids are small doesn’t mean they don’t deal with big problems. Young children often have a difficult time processing their emotions and learning coping mechanisms, especially when it comes to emotional stressors like dyslexia or anxiety.

They need a guide who can help them navigate their complicated feelings and show them how to manage difficult situations.

That’s where Dusty the Dog can help.

Through reading, kids can identify with complex emotions that Dusty and Danny experience and learn coping skills that they can apply to their own life.

The Books

Did You Say
Pasghetti?

In Did You Say Pasghetti?, Dusty faithfully supports Danny through his struggle with dyslexia. Hopefully, everyone who reads the story will understand that some kids learn differently, and it is important to be patient and kind with them – no matter what.

Dusty's Big
Oops!

In Dusty and Danny’s newest adventure, Dusty’s Big Oops!, they find themselves in the middle of classroom chaos…accidentally caused by Dusty. Oops! It’s a lesson in dealing with anxiety, coping with the unexpected, and accepting that everyone makes mistakes sometimes!
