Phonics Word Work Game with Word Families

Use this interactive word work phonics activity to strengthen reading and spelling skills as kids build words using onset and rime. Great for reading centers, special education, Orton-Gillingham programs, and tutoring. There are 42 rime cards that include welded/glued sounds, short vowels, long vowels, and vowel digraphs.

This can be used with any reading or phonics program and blank cards are included so you can easily customize and differentiate. Students use the Word Crush Board to hunt for beginning sounds to make words. The board includes consonants, digraphs, and blends. Turn it into a game to see which sound gets the highest score.
