This fun printable phonics card game strengthens decoding skills and reading fluency using words with “welded” or “glued” sounds. Also called word families, practice activities with these sounds help students develop strong reading skills.
Great for learning centers, Orton-Gillingham based programs, special education, tutoring, and homeschools. Students don’t even realize they are practicing while matching sounds and word families to get rid of cards.
This game includes 64 cards with the welded sounds of am, all, an, ang, ank, ing, ink, onk, ung, unk, ild, ind old, unk, ank, A sheet of blank cards is included to add additional words based on your students’ needs.
A backside is included for making double-sided cards. These cards can be printed in color or in black and white. Playing cards can also double as flash cards and can be used with any of my Fast and Fabulous Flash Card Review Games.

I love all these cards. I can work on other things with other kids while my kids are playing and review their words. It is a great activity that can be done independently. The cards are done well and I love them!
