This digital game is a great fall and Halloween activity to practice building multi syllable words. It makes distance learning easy with Google Slides™ or PowerPoint™, plus an interactive PDF that can be played off-line. Strengthen multi-syllable word reading, spelling, and vocabulary skills. These are a great review for reading intervention, special education, and Orton-Gillingham programs.
Three games are included where players must correctly choose the syllable to complete a word. Each correct answer adds a jack-o-lantern to the stack. The goal is to correctly answer all six questions and create a tall stack of jack-o-lanterns. Be careful. A wrong answer topples your stack and sends you back to the start. Games one and two practice two-syllable words, game 3 uses 3 syllable words. Fun graphics of kids in costumes add to the Halloween theme and provide visual clues.
