Thinking hats are a fun craft to encourage a growth mindset, critical thinking, problem solving and independence. Students can literally put on their thinking hat when they need to solve a problem. A template is provided for students to write and draw pictures of brainstorming solutions to academic and social challenges. Simply cut out the finished hat and attach the straps. Laminated hats can be used again and again. Don’t forget to make one for the teacher too!
A fun way to visually and concretely remind students that they can figure out solutions on their own.
